Hand-held self-illuminating ophthalmoscope with updated Morton-type head. Angled slit mirror to reverse. Polished metal stem features screw-adjusted focus scale for twin beam illumination and a milled-edge wheel/drum controlling the twin beams. Removable black-painted cylindrical battery handle with chrome cap and white plastic sliding control lever. Contained in black leather-covered wooden case, lined with purple velvet and fabric and with twin brass clasps. Spare bulb missing.
