Sample NHS spectacle frame. Gold-filled yellow metal frame. Crested bridge with separate white 'pearl' plastic pads. Centre joints. Flat-section curl sides. PRO eye rims, unglazed. Attached to a strung paper identity tag. Together with an historic cardboard box with separate lid, marked with NHS code and dates of manufacture.
