Small printed booklet aimed at patients, containing an introduction to the company including an open letter inside the front cover (damaged), a description of 'the new profession' of optology, exterior shop-front photographs of two Liverpool branches, interior photographic-based drawings featuring staff and customers at the counter, in the testing rooms (using an astigmatic fan chart and a reading test type, indirect ophthalmoscopy), illustrations of patent rigid spectaclette (pince-nez), dainty spectaclette (spring-bridge pince-nez) and spiral spring spectaclette (astig), also a pair of rimless spectacles with bifocal lenses and three different versions of the shop sign. 16 pages, printed in black.
