Surface-standing Applanation tonometer. Cream-coloured metal casing with black leather-covered cylindrical grip and green baize padding to base. Milled-edge control wheel with calibrated scale. Contact on end of rocker arm. Retractable forehead rest with round black forehead support button and push-trigger to release. Round ocular. Two-pin transformer socket. Contained within original supplier's wooden case with hinged lid and brass clasps, lined with yellow and red foam.
