Ophthalmoscope. Loring-type brass head and neck, stripped and polished to original metal. Black plastic handle with shiny white metal stem. Swivelling perforated mirror missing its surface. Two overlaid lens disks. Together with a round, rimless condensing lens. Contained in black leather-covered compartmentalised wooden case with detached lid (hinges broken), sliding metal catch and purple fabric lining.
