Non-luminous ophthalmoscope. Ebony handle with white metal screw stem. Black metal head. Mount for rectangular mirror (missing). Single lens disc contaning seven lenses and one empty aperture. Two separate condensing lenses, marked 2 and 3. Contained in black leatherette-covered compartmentalised wooden case with purple velvet lining to base and hinged lid. Friction catch fastener.
