Postcard, one of a series of portrait postcards published by a museum, depicting famous scientists. Small portrait format printed in black and white. Features a reproduction of an original engraved portrait, set within an oval, by Anker Smith ARA, printed by I. Verkage, of the microscopy pioneer Antoni Van Leeuwenhoek FRS (1632-1723), captioned as being a Fellow of the Royal Society.
