Handmade spectacles. Dark brown real tortoiseshell frame. Slightly bowed regular bridge. Shallow vertical lugs supporting white metal triple charnier (five barrel) centre joints, vertically pinned to front and horizontally pinned to sides. Thick 'library' sides with drop-ends. Rectangular eye rims, very slightly bevelled, with flattened tops, unglazed.
