Hand-held reading test chart. Card, with a near vision test printed on one side in paragraphs of increasing size. Sixteen sizes represented, numbered 80 to 8, taken from a work on the use of spectacles, plus a line of musical notation. Handwritten annotation in top left corner. On the reverse is printed a table of 'Dioptric System and Equivalents'.
