Representation of the armorial bearings of the City of London, being a version prepared for a Freeman for display in his optical practice. Embroidered white shield bearing red cross of St George and sword of St Paul, flanked by two griffins, surmounted by a bishope's mitre, all on a black velvet(?) background. In a dark stained wooden glazed frame.
