Leaflet describing the Beale Ophthalmoscope devised by Dr Lionel Beale FRS, Physician to Kings College Hospital. Printed on two separate sides of paper (originally joined) each side now fragmented into three horizontal sections and disfigured by inappropriate earlier attempts to reattach them with sticky tape. Illustrated on the front sheet with an engraving of the instrument. BOA Library ink stamp.
