Aesthesiometer comprising long black pen-like instrument with variable length nylon filament, issuing from nib by means of thumb-controlled milled-edge wheel. Also two black plastic shells with multiple perforations to provide location apertures and a clear plastic hollow tube. Contained within a green leather-covered wooden hinged case with two metal clasps, lined with light blue velvet. Openable compartment inside case lid.
