Brochure outlining the services of an ophthalmic opticians, including an account of 'The Mystery of "How We See" Plainly Told' by J. J. Wood SMC and illustrations of Mr Wood's Eye Demonstrator in use, photographs of the sight-testing room and shop exterior on Lord St, Liverpool. Also three illustrations of curved toric (2 sight) lenses. On the front cover a drawing of a man in a dinner jacket wearing a pair of toric pince-nez. Printed in black on eight pages, stapled, with soft illustrated covers. Back cover badly damaged and depicting a woman wearing a pair of new 'Dainty Spectaclette' rimless eyewear.
