Commemorative coin in silver. Uncirculated proof quality, nominal value 200 Koruny (CZK). Obverse: Portrait bust facing to left of the contact lens pioneer Professor Otto Wichterle (1913-1998) wearing spectacles, the larger portion of it in clear focus as if seen through a contact lens, the rest blurred. Reverse: Text, a portion of it in clear focus as if seen through a contact lens, the rest blurred. In a round clear plastic case, set within a black plastic hinged outer case with velvet lining, together with a printed card by the issuing authority.
