Undergraduate dissertation on an historical subject, produced during the three-year honours course in ophthalmic optics, providing biographical treatment of eleven prominent ophthalmic surgeons. Illustrated with high-quality reproduction photographic prints of portraits, archives and heritage objects. A4 portrait format typewritten on approximately 50 pages, spiral bound. Includes pencil annotations by assessor. Photographic illustrations include: Temple Row Birmingham in 19th c., portrait of Joseph Hodgson FRCS, FRS, bust of G. M.
