Stamp, value 55 lire, features a green portrait engraving of Einaudi, wearing round eye spectacles. Cancelled with two commemorative postmarks. Envelope features black and white portrait drawing of Einaudi set against a green laurel wreath, the emblem of the Italian Republic.
