Folding spectacles of very high quality. Dark brown real (?) tortoiseshell frame. Double screw-hinged folding arch bridge. Short rounded lugs. Duble charnier centre joints, vertically pinned at front and horizontally pinned to sides. Straight sides hinged half-way along length in vertical plane with metal-to-metal double pinned joints and with additional textured shell pads stuck to the inner surface of the tips. Round eye rims, unglazed.
