Christmas greetings card, portrait format, featuring, on the front, a photograph of an early 19th century light cow's horn spectacle frame with straight sides and oval eyes, astride a papier mache case covered with printed paper in imitation of leather, from the Collection Aangenendt, overlaid on a 17th century pamphlet from Utrecht (1672) 'Brillen voor alderhande gesichten (Spectacles for all kinds of faces), customised on the inside for Paul Aangenendt, with a detail photograph of the spectacles and the case but not the pamphlet.
