Foriagraph consisting of a rectangular metal box with black crackled enamel finish, enclosing two rotating discs controlled from either side. White charts to front and reverse, one side comprising a foriagraph muscle balance chart, the other side an interchangeable near vision reading test card featuring central aperture and, around it, four passages of text in named typefaces: Diamond, Pearl, Minion, Bourgeois. Also telephone directory entry, railway timetable London Victoria to Bromley South and musical staff. Handle missing. Extendable measuring tape with finger ring. Triple lens clips on upper surface with twin dark red and blue/green filters, each with a white metal rim and short handle. (Light red filter missing).
