Black leatherette hinged case with red silk lining. Triple brass hinges. Keyhole with escutcheon and key. Contains 28 silver surgical instruments. Includes: 10 knives and probes with ivory handles, one with a finger guard, one inscribed 'Weiss', the others 'Luer'; 2 canulae; 3 forceps, 2 small forceps, 2 needles, 1 black flexible probe, 1 scissors, 2 tongs, one with locking wheel, 2 tiny wire tongs, metal double-ended lid retractor inscribed 'Luer'; lid retractor with wide ivory handle inscribed 'Luer'; small fenestrated probe with wooden handle.
