Letter from an optician in Cairo to Messrs Butterworth Ltd in Birmingham, requesting the expediting of outstanding orders and enclosing firfty pounds. Includes a handwritten annotation on behalf of King Farouk that His Majesty 'expressed his satifaction for the folding specs'. The optician adds that he thinks they were the 'nicest glasses in that line I have seen'. Typewritten on pre-printed business letterhead, bearing the logos of the BOA and IOO, signed in ink.
