Draft of the President's Savoy Speech

Letter to the BOA President on the letterhead of G.H.Giles, returning the draft of his speech to be delivered at the BOA Dinner to be held at the Savoy Hotel on 9th July 1953. Typewritten on one side only of a single sheet of white pre-printed corporate stationery. Blue ink signature. Enclosed with a typewritten summary of the speech for issue to the press, a draft speech handwritten by D.W.A. Mitchell, a copy of the letter from the Home Secretary commenting on the Association's loyal address at the Coronation and several scraps and notes of earlier drafts for the speech.
