Letter from Mr H. F. Gillott, the Head of Department of Ophthalmc Optics, Stow College of Engineering/Glasgow College of Technology to Mr I. C. Grigg, Secretary of the GOA, detailing the names of the final-year students who submitted the best project in the session 1969-1970, and who are therefore to be considered for the Glasgow Opticians Association (1912) Prize. Appended to a carbon copy of a letter dated 24 April 1971, sent to Mr Alisdair D. Stewart, awarding him a prize of a £3 book token and inviting him to be presented with it at a dinner on 13 May. (On the reverse of this is a copy of a notice announcing the 59th AGM of the GOA).
