Wooden trial case. Ebonised exterior with mahogany fittings and blue silk lining to lid. White metal hinges. Lock (with key missing). Contains two white metal curl-sided spectacle frames, both by Hadley; one with dipping K bridge and two plain aperture mounting discs for screw-in telescopic lenses; the second with pad bridge, left eye containing plain aperture telescopic mount and 200/724 L.V.A. lens and right eye glazed with frosted lens. Also three pairs of telescopic lens, two smaller telescopic lenses, three telescopic mounts with integral +cyl lenses, two occluder discs and spaces for 16 pairs of small mount aperture-sized lenses (16 lenses present in total).
