Monocular microscope for measuring the radius of curvature of contact lenses during manufacture. Black-painted brass with other white metal and chrome components and a bakelite stage. Milled adjusting wheels. Single objective fitted with auxiliary armature. Horseshoe base. Together with a fixed 'John Bull' spherometer with white dial bearing the British Kitemark. Together with a lockable wooden crate containing accessory drawers with interchangeable eyepices and a small cleaning brush.
