Modern souvenir reproduction medal (reduced size). Bronze-effect. Obverse: In the field a pair of nose spectacles and a telescope on tripod stand. Surrounded by inscription relating to the Carl Zeiss Foundation optical museum. Reverse: Reproduction of a Braunschweiger 'Brillentaler' of 1588, featuring a horse and a man carrying a candlestick and spectacles. Together with a blue plastic case with transparent sliding lid.
