Ornamental nose spectacles in elaborate wooden case. Spectacles have 'German silver' (nickel silver) frame without sides, unusually shaped eyes with soldered decoration and wavy glass eye rims, glazed. Shaped wooden case is side-opening, double-hinged with silver mounts and clasp. Upper portion is mahogany, lower portion is boxwood. Both sides inlaid with shell and feature carved decoration.
