Professional code of ethics relating to sight-testing, prices and discounts, lenses and treatment, diplomas, personal superiority and general matters. As approved jointly by the BOA and SMC on 7 October 1936, adopted by the JCQO on 3 November 1937 and subsequently amended with the approval of all three bodies. Foolscap, portrait format, printed in black on both sides of a single sheet of white paper. Bears the facsimile signatures of W. H. Champness and J. H. Sutcliffe. Reverse includes a note on the interpretation of clause 5 relating to the display of price labels on window cards.
