Ophthalmoscope. Black metal and plastic head. 3 setting aperture adjustment on back. +/- sliding adjustment and rotatable lens disc. Polished metal battery handle with white plastic rheostat lever. Possibly a hybrid marriage of an older head with a more modern handle.
