Foveoscope (direct ophthalmoscope enabling the fovea to be examined through the smallest of pupils). Self-illuminating. Silvered and grey 'duralumin' metal. Head with finger-controlled rotatable drum, precentred bulb, twin condensor, projector lens and stainless steel mirror. Cylindrical cord handle in matching finish. Spare lamp bulb. Black leather-covered wooden hinged-lid case with two yellow metal clasps and black velvet and silk lining.
