Hand optometer comprising white metal cylindrical bar with cream-painted metal eyepiece assembly, drop-cell and black swivelling occluder. Cream-painted target holder, bulb unit and 'Daimon' battery attachment. Grey fluted cylindrical handle. Ten trial lenses. Contained within wooden hinged crate with two metal clasp fasteners. Accommodation chart (age/dioptres) pasted within case lid.
