1) Prescription; Army Form I.1240 (in duplicate) and I.1240B made out for the optician K. Wilcox (Aberdeen) on behalf of the Optical Appliances Depot relating to a soldier, Pte Howes based at Burscough, Lancashire.Stamped by the RAOC, Burscough, June 1941. Also 2) Pair of Gas mask spectacles. Curl sides. Round eyes and lenses. Left lens cracked whole way across. 3) Black-covered metal case. Side opening. Purple velvet lining.
