Large floor-standing piece of practice equipment incorporating refracting unit, angle-poise lamp and adjustable shelf, near-point rod and Stevens Phorometer. Cream-coloured metal and chrome. Electric control switches for three instruments. Tripod base. Also a fitted carrying box for the refractor head made of brown leatherette-covered wood with white carrying strap and two yellow metal clasps.
