Covering letter introducing to the UK market a new division of an American manufacturer of automated ophthalmic instruments, Allergan Humphrey Instruments, part of the Allergan Eye Care Group. A4 portrait format printed in colour on both sides of a single sheet of white card, holepunched, together with (originally attached but now separate) a tear-off reply card. Front features a photograph a woman sitting in front of a Humphrey Lens Analyzer and a close-up photograph of a hand using a pointer on a control screen. The letter details the new sales team of Martin Long (ex-Keeler), Kevin Priestley, Ian Wheeler (ex-Coopervision) and Claire Austin.
