Sample NHS reversible spectacle frame. Dark brown and amber mottled plastic (imitation tortoiseshell) frame. Keyhole bridge with double set of integral clear plastic pads. Stirrup-like centre joints. Tapering half-plastic sides with yellow metal cable curl terminals with round end stumps. Shaped eye rims, unglazed. Attached to a strung paper identity tag. Together with an historic cardboard box with separate lid, marked with NHS code and dates of manufacture.
