Spectacles designed to help a golfer keep his eye on the ball. Brown mottled plastic (imitation shell) frame. Thick saddle bridge. Shallow lugs with screwed-in centre joints leading to thick library reinforced drop-end sides. Flat topped and chamfered eye rims, glazed with brown ('bloomed') tinted glass lenses featuring clear vertical portion towards centre of each eye. Together with a handwritten explanatory letter.
