Patent Design Spectacles with reinforced bridge

Spectacles. Real tortoiseshell frame. Bowed regular bridge reinforced from behind with a gold metal plate with pins showing to front. Horizontal lugs bearing horizontally-pinned metal-to-metal centre joints. Drop-end sides with rounded tips. Round eye rims, unglazed. Very worn design-related inscriptions to inner sides.
