Sample NHS spectacle frame. Yellow metal frame. Grooved W-bridge. Centre joints. Flat-section drop-end sides with very dark brown plastic end covers. Round eye rims with very dark brown Xylonite rim covers, unglazed. Attached to a strung paper identity tag. Together with an historic cardboard box with separate lid, marked with NHS code and dates of manufacture.
