Sample NHS spectacle frame. Yellow metal frame. Grooved W-bridge. Centre joints. Flat-section cable curl sides, half-covered in dark brown Xylonite and with round end stumps. Round eye rims with dark brown Xylonite rim covers, unglazed. Attached to a strung paper identity tag. Together with an historic cardboard box with separate lid, marked with NHS code and dates of manufacture.
