Sample NHS spectacle frame. Dark brown and yellow mottle (imitation tortoiseshell) frame. Regular bridge. Small horizontal lugs with centre joints, vertically pinned to front and horizontally pinned to sides. Reinforced drop-end sides. Contour-shaped eye rims, unglazed. Attached to a strung paper identity tag. Together with an historic cardboard box with separate lid, marked with NHS code and dates of manufacture.
