Spectacles. White metal frame with grooved W-bridge, split centre joints and thin flat-section flexible curl sides with end stumps. Round eye rims, glazed with glass prescription lenses. Contained within a paper-covered metal hinged case, side-opening, with inner lip and dark red velvet lining. The paper pattern is suggestive of planished metal (Steel, made to look like aluminium?). Also a yellow rectangular-shaped lens cleaning cloth ('Sanitary eyeglass cleaner') with jagged edges, overprinted in black with branding for Shuron eyeglasses and spectacles and for the supplier, The Hongkong Optical Co, successors to Clark & Co.
