Handwritten and illuminated testimonial to Colonel T. Davies-Sewell, Clerk of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers, on the occasion of his 80th birthday, from the undersigned Freemen and Liverymen of the Company. Bound in dark red leather with tooled gold decoration including metal corner mounts bearing the pseudo-heraldic device and crest, and a brass clasp. Inscribed alphabetically on separately pasted pieces of paper, with the names of individuals. Dated September 21st 1912.
