Tonometer. Two stainless steel probes with cylindrical plungers, each with screw-on black plastic handles, two clear plastic tubes containing 'Tonokap' applanation caps, pad of transfer paper, white plastic bottle of 'Aplacote' coating solution and table loupe with 5 gram objective scale. Contained in compartmentalised wooden hinged case with white metal clasp and instructions mounted on inside of lid. Also a reprint of an article by Posner and Inglima comparing 'The Tonomat Applantion Tonometer' with the electronic Mueller (Schiotz) Tonometer, reprinted from 'The Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Monthly' 46:996-1000 (August) 1967.
