Monochrome trade card/shop print (engraving) depicting the optical instruments made by Edward Scarlett (Senior), optician to George II. Includes text in English, French and Dutch. In a modern traditional-style gilded wooden frame, glazed. Includes a handwritten receipt on the reverse relating to a reflecting telescope sold by Edward Scarlett (Junior) to one John Gardener in 1756. Framed so as to allow viewing of both sides.
