Colour vision lantern comprising rectangular box with feet to stand in horizontal or vertical position. 15 W bulb within shines through a heat filter and condensing lens into two adjacent chambers containing carriage-mounted colour filters, convening at an outlet serviced by a removable slide of variable apertures.Two sets of adjustment knobs, one to adjust position of carriage and hence inensity of colour, the other to adjust brightness. Three switches. Carrying strap to side. Accompanied by various accessories including spare bulb, spare filters and a diffusion slide, also two photocopies of an article describing its function, a wiring diagram, a note on calibration procedure and a 1998 reconstructed copy of an earlier instruction sheet.
