Spectacles. Dark stained horn frame. Slightly bowed arch bridge. Wide lugs with metal-to-metal (left) and ordinary metal (right) centre joints, vertically pinned. Straight, tapering sides, with roughened textured grip on inner sides at tips. Oval eye rims, glazed. Together with an historic but certainly not original tie-on paper tag marked in handwritten ink 'Horn'.
