Front cover bears emblems of a Scottish lion, Edinburgh Castle and a saint. Contents include list of office bearers and committees 1930-31, a review of Pascal's 'Modern Retinoscopy', article on Parallactic Displacement in Ophthalmoscopy, questions from the Qualifying Students Examinations December 1930, discussion 'Is Hospital Work Worth While?', a feature and photograph of the Amblyo-Corrector. Full-page advertisements for: London Optical Company (Linfield Kerascope), Nitsche & Gunther Optical Co (1927) Ltd (Punctiform Torics - 'Punctiscus' Lenses), Kirk Brothers (charming display model), The Hadley Company (Hadley Central Trupos Ranelagh) and, on back cover J. R. Fleming Ltd (first class Rx service, including image of the Head office in Clerkenwell). Smaller advertisements for Scott & Madill (Union Improved Astigmatic Chart), Royal Optical Co, George Culver Ltd, Willmotts Ltd, Butterworths (Edinburgh) Ltd, Lever Brothers ('Accuracy').
