20th century reproduction of an engraving from 1720 of a quack doctor wearing nose spectacles and carrying a cane and a bird on his hand, as printed on the British Optical Association's own press and supplied to members with copies of the Dioptric Bulletin under the caption 'An Old Dutch Engraving Depicting a Quack Doctor'. Mounted with maroon card, housed in an early 21st century red wood and glazed frame with internal gilt surround.
