Metal YOS Presidential medal (925 silver gilt) with collar. Oval-shaped with emblematic roundel enclosing an enamelled shield bearing the arms of the Institute of Ophthalmic Opticians. Beneath the roundel, the white rose of Yorkshire above a red and white shield (the arms of the City Corporation of York). Hallmarked on reverse. Blue collar. Large blue leatherette, hinged case with yellow metal clasp. Lined in white silk and bearing medal on blue velvet internal support pad.
