Wooden trial case. Hinged at narrow side. Two hook clasps, on eeither side, set within recess. Typewritten key running down centre. Contains 18 spherical convex lenses in yellow metal frames with handles and 18 spherical concave lenses in (mostly) white metal frames with handles. Manufacturer's bone plate on rim surround. Blue fabric lining to lid.
